Cusco – Huayllabamba

07:00 departure by bus from Cusco to km 82
10:00 walk: km 82 to Huayllabamba (approximately 5 to 6 hours)
13:00 lunch in Miskay
18:00 dinner and overnight stay
Second Day :
Guayllabamba – Pacasmayo
06:00 breakfast
07:00 Walk for approximately 7 to 8 hours. Climb up to the pass Warmihuañusca to an altitude of 4200
meters above sea level, crossing the majestic forest of Queña.
13:00 lunch in Pacaymayu
18:00 dinner and overnight stay
Third Day :
Pacasmayo - Wiñayhuayna
06:00 breakfast
07:00 Walk for approximately 5 to 6 hours. On the trail we will visit the archeological sites Runcuracay,
Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca, Wiñayhuaayna.
13:00 lunch in Chaqui Cocha
18:00 dinner and overnight stay
Fourth Day :
Wiñayhuayna – Machu Picchu
04:00 breakfast
04:30 Walk for approximately 3 hours from Rumbo to Intipunku, Machu Picchu
08:30 Guided visit in Machu Pichu for 2 hours with the official guide, after this free time in the ruins,
recommendable to walk up to the hill Huayna Picchu, to visit the Temple of the Moon and the Inca
Bridge. Walk down to Aguas Calientes. Time in agreement with the guide.
15:50 by train: Aguas Calientes - Cusco, arrival at Cusco around 20:00
